I bought this bag for my HTC Desire S and have it now for about a month in daily use. The unit is very well protected by the leather case. By the drawing mechanism, the device can be removed relatively quickly and easily if required. The inside of the bag is lined with such a kind of microfiber, so still occurs, a certain cleaning effect of the display.
Overall, I can safely recommend the pocket thus also for the Desire S, although this is not explicitly listed in the product description.
