Equipment does not read external HDD, only USB flash drives

For those who do not want any external media, but only CD and DVD use, the system is absolutely super.

I am fully satisfied with the Philips system. The sound is good, the standby / sleep mode, I find class, intuitive user interface (user I have not used) - a thoroughly enjoyable product. Has only one error: Read from external USB media only goes to 160GB size (lt contact Philips Hotline.). Now my music was but a 500GB drive - stupid run.
Meanwhile, I've got an older HDD with 130GB activated - will not again. After chatting with the Philips Service First comes the answer: small HDD 160 GB, must have external power supply and be formatted in FAT32. Applies to all my older HDD. The lady looks again exactly, noting that's HDD read only at Philips home cinema equipment (HTS). So if you have music or movies on hard drives, this device should not buy.
