It's always a little dicey the historical novel, especially the risk of the fresco that wants to kiss too. But Marc Dugain is doing pretty well and restores political society of the 30s to the 70s through the story of Clyde Tolson, second and steadfast lover sour legendary Edgar Hoover, head of the FBI for 50 years. It plunges us into the dark corridors of power, a secret police ready to manipulation by hysterical anticommunism and Puritanism. And where there is the conservative morality, there is hypocrisy nearby: this is what we teach Edgar curse along with a good introduction to American politics through a novel effective.
