The following things I did not like:
- Shear overdue replacement of the quick release plate. Goes great with a bit of practice, but I know since lighter snap mechanisms
- The changing of the legs is a bit cumbersome if the angle is to be increased (for low heights)
- Weight can be to strengthen the stability not just "hang" on the midfoot. A hook etc. would be great
- Schwarfe edge of the metatarsal. Unfortunately, I have the bar trying to take out. If one removes the rubber cap, one sees a schwarfe metal edge. Out you get the center bar easily, but it can not be so easily reintroduce for the sharp edge and then rubs this on the socket. This was the reason to return this item for me again. Actually, I just wanted to test whether you can attach upside down the center bar in order to establish a close contact with the ground for macro can.
Overall a compatible stand, that can withstand light winds. What I miss are spikes on the feet for added support, and the processing of the center rail I find with the sharp edges not acceptable. Otherwise for the price category super tripod for the beginner area at 100th
