As always, Wiley is an editor that offers didactic and original approach to a given theme. In this richly illustrated book, the author proposes a double page large film idea. The book scans the history of cinema from its origins to today: the magic lantern to the synthetic image through the compositing and 3D, topics are very varied. Suddenly, the book offers a first general approach has the merit of summarizing a large number of developments. I would recommend it to beginners or those looking for summary information. Thus assembly is the object of a page then we find entire books devoted to it because the issue deserves attention. Anyway, reading this book is a good first approach, rich frames and lines of thought. A read-fun, no doubt, but informative and structured.
