Ludacris Presents ... Disturbing Tha Peace (Audio CD)

Customer Review

So it's that time again: a very good, intelligent man (in this case, Ludacris), has therefore thought he sends his friends from the south to the Game (whose IQ alone rapping begutachtend, about forty percentage points below that of her mentor lies). No difficult undertaking. One can also simply times with relish retreat into the background, and write only a solo track and five short Parts as Ludacris. The rest is done by itself ...
After the intro we go with "Georgia", the anthem of those state, which is not exactly known in this country in the same breath with the Rapmetropolen like New York or Atlanta. By cool eingesungene of Jamie Foxx "Georgia" is the thing definitely at least listenable, even for people who come from other climes. Then follows a fairly continuous forward "Put Ya Hands Up", in which you are quite willing to do with the head, the international sign for yes. But already from the next track, it begins to be no longer of interest, or to be more interesting to. The typical idiotic South rut screams a la "I Get Head, I Get Head", or "Break AN *** a off!" Are spat over here not too impressive beats into the Mic. So far, nothing special. However, where Luda`s solo track to the next! Unfortunately, this is no more than average, though certainly better than all the creative outpourings of other artists on the plate.
And this "Sweet Revenge" actually remains the highlight of the now second release of Disturbing da Peace posse. As can also Luda's good swayed Part no longer Head on the official final track (before the bonus rock number that does not fit on the album). This Silberling has certainly not one devoted to it rapping troublemakers overly much time. Pity!
Conclusion: It is to find anything outstanding or above average on this record. Possibly very hard south-fans will be able to find something nice to it. In this country, the thing you definitely ought to remain in the drive bay until it is replaced by the announced 2006 Ludacris album "Release Therapy".
