A great lover of the Inspector Pendergast, I'm disappointed with this album. Although very entertaining, Pendergast is too absent, there is no investigation, and the supernatural replaces that void. I think the character that makes the interest of this suite, I named Pendergast, loses its content as you go. In this book, except on his intervention with responsible gaming rooms, it undergoes too events at places ahead of them, which takes away a lot of his life force. Certainly in "the book of the dead", it also suffers, but only because his brother is revealed at least as strong as him, and that despite everything, he struggles enormously, displaying great ingenuity, strength of character, making him an endearing hero. I spent a great time anyway, but I stay on my hunger, also because we expect to see resurface his brother, and to attend a duel thank you brother to brother directly.
