I made my radio on 27 December installing. Rarely have I felt so euphoric especially since everything worked, the menu was easy to use and the DAB + reception was terrific. I had all received. Even there where I was told it could be tight. Only once in a deep valley, set the DAB + reception of short, which I hardly noticed, since the transition to FM is perfectly timed by the device.
Bluetooth Audio: lace, Telephony: very good, except for that still other people were called as selected if you selected the contacts on the radio.
But then one evening while trying DAB + listening to: No signal
I already suspected that vll. With the transmitters something is wrong, but on request I got the answer that everything was in order.
Resetting the device also did nothing. How could it be that in my brand new device, everything went and after two weeks no DAB + reception longer exists.
When a call comes in Kennwood I was told that I would have chosen me by buying from Amazon for a purchase without support. Had I purchased from an installer on the radio, he had to check the same antenna. One could not help me.
Luckily my installation aid is well-versed technically so I made an appointment with him from the check out. On that day I had like again perfect with the classic demonstration effect DAB + reception. However, we checked out the antenna. Amplifier ab = no signal amplifier tuned = signal. All contacts were correct. I had the whole day to evening reception .... The next time you start the car, again the display: NO SIGNAL
It did not, a replacement unit was needed. Meanwhile I got from a H. water from digitalradio.de an email in the following sentence was: "To put it mildly, we have remarkably often heard from listeners about problems with recipients of the brand Kenwood Of course this does not have to be the cause.."
Today we exchanged the radio. The "old" Kenwood Radio had become even a new fault: The fan no longer went out. Even when I came back into the car after hours, the fan was still running. So good that only the replacement unit was there. Everything rewire, tried new antenna, radio switched on: no signal. I thought Animal House. Again Search: Only HR programs, for about a minute, at a place where I previously received everything easily. Then again, nothing. Other antenna tried: nothing
Frustrated, we built the radio back and I'm going to try it with Alpine. We could thus be a nice couple :-(
