Disappointed Promise

The beginning of the novel is curious, captivating and unusual. But over reading the interest decreases, the style becomes more narrative and there are fewer shares, the years pass and the events do not bring much to the hero's story becomes somewhat boring as his life story.
I would have preferred the unusual atmosphere of the beginning continues throughout the novel. What I dislike is that the hero falls quickly in an ordinary life,
only "the cube" which evokes at times during his life makes you want to know what happened, but it is disappointing as the end of history.
