I bought this book for my son of two and a half years, which is a fan of trains. The cover and the concept appealed to me with transparent pages seemed to me attractive. Except that the content did not correspond at all to my expectations .. The first page with the buffalo does not bother me so much it (that is the passage that my son prefers the book) but I admit that I found the topic of the train was very badly treated. Always compare before and now ... Many trains of the past and not a lot of current train illustration. The pictures appeared to me very vieillotes (including double page showing great mountainous landscape with a small train and another barely visible double page illustrating the decor of a room of children is very "50s"). I found no interest in evoking the ghost train at the end, illustration, again which seemed very outdated and dark. The only interesting part for me is where is evoked the Eurostar, the Channel Tunnel. Very disappointed, so. My son does not adhere more than that.
