I am a faithful guides See for years, but the one on New Zealand really disappoints me. Firstly the approach of the country, known for its beautiful landscapes, nature ... But the guide revolves mainly around the cities of New Zealand. Illustrations, then. An example, on the page dedicated to the Kaikura region, entitled "Marine fauna Kaikoura", there has 6 pictures. One of a billboard marine guides, a restaurant, a boat next to a whale tail ... The labeled picture "The Dark lagénorhynque, a dolphin, is very playful," shows a body of water, with a few divers in the foreground, perhaps, but not sure without a magnifying glass, a dolphin dorsal fin, and fur seals, we see rocks and tourists, but not sea lion ... And overall, throughout the guide, many more photos of cities and buildings (not even Maori buildings) as photos of landscapes. Finally, no suggested itineraries, even in areas that really lend themselves to the road, as the Otago and Southland ... Anyway, I'm not even sure I'll take this guide with me during my trip!
