The ordering process was a little cumbersome, but after submission of the required documentation from the manufacturer, the registration and licensing of this software went smoothly. The installation I have succeeded immediately and the software runs smoothly in this respect. However, it is completely useless for my scientific work. I had to many a positive review here hoping to have found the right software to edit my interviews with experts. Unfortunately, this was a false assumption. Interviews and discussions of two or more people can not transcribe this software. Only linguistic nonsense comes out. But normal dictation -despite hours of acclimation and process time are Dragon repeatedly flawed and simply wrong again. Even the simplest and shortest rates were affected by errors, incomprehensible and just plain wrong. During the period in which I have dictated a lot of work in Dragon half an A4 page, I had more than four pages written text by hand, despite relatively slow spelling of me. I was Dragon almost driven to despair, because it just did not do that, what I bought it. I have now given up to work with this software and am again gone over to the good old manual labor. My scientific expert interviews I have had to type of professionals. Although this has considerably cost more money than Dragon NaturallySpeaking, but was well spent. Because the interviews were transcribed quickly and reliably. When thinking about purchasing this software for editing of interviews and academic work, what actually an "Academic Version" should be suitable, I can only advise against the purchase. For Dragon is good at all. Since I can only advise for the purchase of a good keyboard for typing or for yourself engaging a scientific Transkribierdienstes.
