The engine is not powerful enough: it greatly slows each time you press the clay. The machine is too lightweight plastic and moves on the table when it works. Clay provided is not very good. The clay ball slides over the plate and shifts when you start to form which makes handling difficult. The manual is very succinct and do not give examples of pottery. Battery operated expected to share (4 LR20). I do not recommend this relatively expensive purchase for the disappointing quality.
