Having for years used the Sennheiser PX 100 and was very pleased with the quality, I wanted to buy new headphones that are sound somewhat bass-heavy to one side and closed on the other, so I no longer pester my colleagues in the office. The direct competitor to the PX 100 made by Koss Porta Pro is probably the one I too bassy, but otherwise excellent place then when buying the Sennheiser. I thought to myself now, when the little Koss headphones are so powerful, the DJ 100 must be even more determined. Accordingly great was then the disappointment when I received and tested the headphones. Treble and midrange are there, but the bass is missing completely. In addition, the headphones are very quiet. 99 dB SPL or advertised super bass response you realize absolutely nothing. Also negatively noticed me wearing comfort. While the DJ 100 press not, but sit too loose and the earpieces include not right with me. That could be a reason why I miss the bass, because if I press the earphones on my ears, they are much better (but still in very poor compared to the Porta Pro or even my previous PX 100). Otherwise make the parts a good impression, ironing and spiral cable seem robust, the mussels and the holder of this are, however, made of plastic - whether the rotating mechanism not ausleiert over time? When I think that the headphones have cost almost 80, I have to say that I am very disappointed.
