When you love Anne Perry, each new novel is a small event. Especially when there is a new adventure of Pitt. Alas, this time, The Extinct Angel Court (sold 15 anyway because more hair format) really leaves us unsatisfied. It is bored with the chatter and digressions that never end on the existence of God, faith, the future of humanity and of England ... The novel takes off on page 203 . It's still long. When denouement of the plot, it causes neither beat nor lash heartbeat as it is bland and uneventful. A big disappointment.
