After Siddhartha (Herman Hesse), I was looking for a novel alternative philosophical novel of the same scope. A small literary work that pushes the metaphysical reflection and that is enjoyable to read. Unfortunately, Pangaea Alexander Grondeau is neither work, nor literary. It is a book that is simple, very simple uap. The simplistic approach is reflected through the treatment of the characters or relationships they may have which wants absurd and flat. It is full of clichés (you can feel the fantasy of the author on the angelic mythology) and descriptions of places or scenes of childhood simplicity! The use of vocabulary sometimes borders the path familiar to some. Annoying ...
In sum, beyond the awkward writing style, the lack of consideration around the characters and dialogue makes this book tasteless and without depth. Quickly read and empty forgotten!
