Yes this book manages to make mundane things of incredible adventures and characters of everyday heroes of modern times. Yes there is here a lot of anecdotes, digressions small anodyne that want as much reflections on life, love, death, etc. But to want to do too much in the mundane, "farrago" becomes commonplace ...! The plot stretches desperately, parasitized by these digressions. Certainly, there are some nice passes but the author wanted, although of course, reflect the limited vocabulary of his narrator (living a bit lost in rural America), style becomes repetitive. I forced myself to finish this book because criticism was right, saying, at one point he was finally going to "take off". But no, the end, I can not reveal, is the image of the book ... banal. In short, you'll understand that I was disappointed by this book.
