Dispensable Celebrity children's book

This book has our little (almost 6) has not addressed in the bookstore, even though the publisher apparently decent butters money into advertising and even had to jump a cardboard stand. The eel was my son even more likeable than the jellyfish. And jellyfish at all he knows from vacation and know that are slimy, do not have a recognizable face, giving no noises, but horrible burn on the skin. No popular figure.

And even beats my mother's heart for the small jellyfish. Plus a CD of songs in German - I was happy.
Unfortunately my son was right. The songs are ok, but ironic and rather for adults who have no children and therefore do not know that they will not appeal to children.
Nothing to sing along or -tanzen or -klatschen. Rather what the brooding. Does not have to be.

No problem. We wanted anyway the book. Only: the story is difficult to understand for small, complicated language and without apparent reason. The words too heavy for that beginning readers could read them himself and even read they are not understood, because it is a lot of "original neologisms". Since I had made an impression, which is again as a book in which adults congratulate themselves for their great ingenuity. The fact that the children have nothing, is irrelevant.

Unfortunately Quentin jellyfish is one of the countless pseudo-celebrity books again. If it is not possible to somehow rauszuklopfen a novel, then you do hold a children's book, because that's going so much easier and you still can say: I've written a book. I am angry that I fell for it. The story does not matter, no ups and downs, no witty scenes, no loveable characters.

We read now by Axel Scheffler "Sam and the Sea" by a river rat who dreams of the sea - I can only recommend to anyone!
I advise you to stay with the known good children's book authors and the celebrities to take a bow ...
