Made Miranda July, the two films and published among others a book of short stories has (ten truths, Diogenes), processed in this book with the idea to meet with a flea market magazine people selling different things. She drives to the advertiser, interviewed them and they accompanying photographer takes photos of the people and their environment. Integrated into these encounters are scenes from Miranda July's OTHER work and more or less all the thoughts and considerations that come to your mind as lively. It may irritate after a while something that Miranda July has apparently a very egocentric worldview, she always comes first in their versions, but my goodness, the woman also drives to all sorts! With an alert mind and a lot of imagination she proves in talks with first strangers much sense; people open their most willingly. Thus, they are very much alive, Miranda the Bird of Paradise, who has come to them, so ultimately not because of the tadpoles, stuffed animal collection or old travel bag recedes behind them, one learns the interesting life stories and a lot of background information from the life of randomly contacted people. Such a book can only make Miranda July; well worth reading and colorful, you look it over and over again to like. The images on the cover are from an older man, the Miranda has met and has collected them for his wife, and the label with title and summary on the front and back can be removed. Droll!
