A tribute to their musical heroes in the form of a pure cover album, the Toten Hosen not sufficient. Why not simply equal to invite them into the studio and let out together with them the sow? Anyone slightly familiar with punk rock music, which should here contributors Joey Ramone, Johnny Thunders, TV Smith, Captain Sensible and Charlie Harper at least say some something. Nevertheless, I had to inform you about some bands and their members only. Here comes a booklet located because the dead have pants there written some information and anecdotes to. The first song "Blitzkrieg Bop" knows now times really everybody, right? It follows "Brickfield Nights" by The Boys, one of the verkanntesten punk bands ever. Later Campino helps there the way out as a singer. A real classic is there also "If The Kids Are United" by Sham 69. The song "Baby Baby" by The Vibrators that time so convinced me in buying this CD that I got myself a plate of the same original tape, although this song is actually the quietest of the whole CD. A sad side effect there are "Born to lose" to report: guest singer Johnny Thunders died nearly 36 hours after these recordings. With "Carnival in Rio (Punk what)" is also a new song that was recorded with the railroad robber Ronald Biggs and is equal to one of my favorite song of the band. And a love song must not be absent with "Whole Wide World" by Wreckless Eric course. Conclusion: A good insight into the origins of punk rock, performed by Die Toten Hosen.
