Graphics:
NFS Most Wanted does not like Burnout Paradise in 60 images the second, but only with 30 FPS. This is some old-established racing fans might foul belching, but I find that this step the developer was understandable. Because thus the graphics department of Criterion could romp tidy. The game looks fantastic. The effects such as sparks and dirt particles are super. Even more impressive are the lighting effects. The low sun stunned a repeatedly, the reflections on the dataillierten bodies of cars are great and the headlamp and Beluchtungs effects at night are awesome. NFS Most Wanted is one of the few games that night to look as good as during the day. The city Fairhaven, where one lets off steam in NFS Most Wanted, has also modeled beautifully. However, the level of detail may not come close to that of a GTA, what indeed is understandable in a racing game. Before I proceed now but me in my hymn of praise around the graphic, I should sometimes illuminate the other side of the issue. Because of this high level of detail leads at least on PS3 and 360 to some problems. It so happens occasionally bucking, I do not but on the PS3 rarely noticed. Much more often occur pop-ups. Because all these details at high speeds are simply not to lift in the limited memory of the PS3. Several times, when I was traveling with the Bugatti Veyron beyond the 380er border, even stopped at the whole game, I simply had no track in front of me but only eternal emptiness. Luckily, you can then wait again after 5 seconds to play. This is annoying in any case, however, it is in 20 hours playing time only once happened to me 3-4, so not the same panic, it has its limits. Otherwise, I find very little a negativeszu stake. I think that Need for Speed Most Wanted, despite some bugs is a real stunner.

Sound:
Do not worry, this criterion I will not describe so comprehensively. For this purpose I lack the appropriate surround sound system to be here really accurate enough. But what I could tell, the sound is that pure skin properly. The engine noises are fed and the soundtrack like really good to me. It's one of those games where the untwisted sound pays real. What I also like is that you can play your own music from the PS3 hard drive in game. This is, unfortunately, in the Playstation 3 is not self-evident.

Gameplay:
Now we come to the crucial question of how to play the game like that?
When controlling had apparently Spongebob Squarepants his finger in the pie, because it is quite spongy (Pops gimmick or?).
Phew, when you have recovered you from laughing, it may now indeed go further. No so seriously, the control feels not so precisely and directly, as in comparable racing games. And even though I was a bit shocked them in the first few minutes, which was fortunately not the case for KO Most Wanted, because pretty quickly you get used to the control system. Initially it all pops few seconds in a car of an innocent motorist, but after a few hours we soaked almost like an agile gazelle the clutches of dangerous leisurely retired from vehicles. Without a crash, however, is a race very hard to quit. Especially in drifting around the curves, it is difficult to correct even, resulting unfortunately some unnecessary accidents. The physics is the way arg unrealistic. Drifting with 250 things around tight bends is as normal as a morning latte in Most Wanted. If you then brettert times with 300 km / h on a ski jump, you can prepare for a pleasant and sustained flight. But that is now times a Fun-Racer to and even if it reduces the authenticity, it does make a lot of fun.
The career structure in Most Wanted is relatively lame. The goal is to defeat gradually all 10 Most Wanted drivers of Fairhaven. To challenge a driver, you need a certain amount of money. To make money, you have to drive races and chases through before quite peaceable police. To drive this race, but you need of course only once cars. These cars can be found everywhere in Fairhaven. Simply stand around in only a few solid, so-called exchange points and you can switch on the fly in it. But this exchange offices you have to find before. I think that this is a very clever way to move the players to explore the game world, because there is to go round the city for a better incentive, if you find this many Porsche, Lamborghini or Mercedes. One can per car contest 5 races. Through each of these races you can find individual modifications for his car. It, however, are exclusively modifying the racing performance of the car rather than new neon underbody or cooler front panel. Optical tuning is not possible. There are of course different types of races, but the building with 5 races a car is really not terribly exciting. I can imagine that some eventually get bored. The nice thing is that you can decide which car you drive and improved and which ones to forget about. So you need not complete with all the cars 5 races. Can this race you select the so-called Easy Drive, use a quick menu while driving. Really makes sense this menu is terrible. Theoretically, you can thus quickly change the tires of the car on road tires, but before you have fought their way into the complicated menu to the option, you already put in either a wall or brought the terrain section of the track behind him. Opponents KI during the race is a typical rubber band AI If you drive slowly, they are waiting on a mysteriously, one drives fast they hold up well with. Thus is to ensure that you still have a chance of winning even with errors and it is always exciting. Since everyone has to decide for yourself what you think of it.
Away from the race there is plenty to do in Fairhaven. One can go through the known from Burnout Paradise billboards, this time these billboards have however the name of EA games developers like Bioware, Visceral Games and EA Sports. I liked that better than me. One can again break through the gates abbreviations and secret paths hide. Through Autolog 2.0 you can compare again with his friends. Who has more billboards pierced, who was driving the best time in race X, who was flashed at the highest speed at point Y, this feature never gets old.
I love Need for Speed Most Wanted always fun, because after a short can have fun with the large and filled game world and the action-packed race.

Scope:
As I mentioned before, I have now 20 hours play time. I have all 10 Most Wanted car struck, but this left me time. One can certainly play through the game in 10 hours. But as I by the collectible objects, detailed game world and the big driving pleasure always well off the race was fun, the long-term motivation in my view is large enough. I have the multiplayer not tested long enough, I certainly had fun with it and am looking forward stop by it in the coming months, every now and then.
If I now however times Need for Speed Most Wanted compare with Burnout Paradise, falls on the game world of Burnout Paradise was even bigger and more complex than Fairhaven. There were more cars. Need for Speed Most Wanted is therefore a little sooner run out of steam, but I am still happy with the scope.

Conclusion:
I have with Need for Speed Most Wanted get what I expected, namely a legitimate successor to Burnout Paradise. And even if Most Wanted can not quite keep up with the model in terms of scope and career building, blows me still to the super graphics and rich sound. I regret the purchase at any time and recommend the game continues.
