But even for these purposes, there are some deficiencies that slow the flow of work.
For example, the volume of each drum parts are very unbalanced, so you descend too much time spent to correct them. Then the delay is not a Tempo Delay, which is automatically synchronized to the BPM, but you have to set this in meticulous precision work by hand. When preparing the whole thing, you can use the time for a piece, but if performance changes the tempo of the next track in the Live, you can probably ill during the gig at the time just fiddle around 5 minutes delay until it fits again , That would sound unprofessional.
Also, the delay always acts on the selected step and not on a drum part or instrument. So everything is on that step gets the effect placed, regardless of whether bass drum, snare or hi-hat. When the TR 8 of my Akai sequencer receives a start signal, the TR running 8 also first with beautiful synchronously. These are just everything shortcomings that 8 make the TR for my purposes as a pure real-time performance instrument unusable.
Especially for the price it is not worth it to me.
