GOgroove FlexSmart X2 Mini Bluetooth car radio FM transmitter (transmitter, receiver, receiver) for your HTC One M9, Motorola Moto E, Samsung Galaxy S6 & more (electronic)
After several previously read reviews and comparative tests, I chose the GOgroove FlexSmart X2 as an audio transmitter. My concerns were related to the audio quality of streamed music via Bluetooth, which is transmitted via the FM transmitter to the radio and the voice quality when making calls. In total, he handled all the tasks, and therefore corresponds to my expectations. He even exceeds in terms of functionality. Once the device is plugged in and the Bluetooth on your smartphone is turned on, the two connect in less than 10 seconds. The control buttons of X2 start the music player in the smartphone. Back and Forward buttons and the two phone buttons control the phone. The volume control works as an additional level option and the transmitter searches for a long press of the Home button automatically "free" frequencies. In fact, these frequencies are rarely free, special are the X2 "superimposed". For most frequencies that works so well that you have to accept no sound restrictions in buying at a moderate volume level. Some frequencies of sound switches to mono and it starts a noise and clipping after a long drive - then you have to search for the "best" frequency and re-adjust the radio. The speakerphone works well, even if the interlocutors are not exactly ecstatic about getting the voice quality. Understanding the Opposite is expected through the pit area of the car very well and also the hiding and showing the music happens automatically comfortable as fade-out or fade-in. Shortcoming of the device is designed for high-end sound fetishists of sound. In my PT Cruiser, the original sound system is installed, which has a well-balanced sound and very differentiated over radio, but especially on CD, clear and punchy, almost all musical styles can image. I am amazed every time again new nuances which are there heard that I never noticed before. The sound quality on the X2 is good. But: affects playback sometimes pointed in the ups and sometimes even clippend. The output control of the X2 I would never turn up the volume and yet it sometimes does not succeed to eliminate the clipping on some frequencies. Then you have to look for another frequency and adjust. One must also remember that the deficits here stem from many reasons. The MP3 compression, the Bluetooth connection and of course the FM transmitter, which can not work entirely free of noise. Here should be mentioned that I can perceive a slight noise at "strong" and stable frequencies with fully turned the radio volume level when the player is on "pause". Plays music is then nothing audible but the sound is too loud often very good for such a solution!
