I can not really recommend the item is sold. I held the LED lights with battery operation for an alternative to power-operated outdoor fairy lights, if one has no electricity on the balcony. First, there are problems with inserting of batteries because this two small cog open to rotate, which are so tiny that you need a precision screwdrivers, I unfortunately did not. If they then has in operation, the chain looks very nice, the timer also works, but kept the batteries with me only about a week, although I have used expensive lithium batteries. The long operating time that is specified in the product description, apparently just wishful thinking.
