The Galaxy S5 is a very shallow smartphone. By such a Book Style Cover it becomes thicker, that is clear and I have known before. However, here with the lid closed no more than loosely 3mm air between the cover and smartphone, which is not necessary. It is thereby made artificially even thicker. Have a feeling that the rebate has simply too much material, so is oversized.
But the protection of smartphones is given!
Addendum: However, one must praise the service. After this review was online, I was called and offered me a free exchange into another protective sheath, which I also accepted. I was really impressed.
