Had this handle ordered as a spare part for our Dyson DC 08 Animal. The item arrived very quickly (just like the filter, I ordered it), alone: The handle did not fit. Opps. A quick call by the consignor in Bonn (a normal telephone number - is on the accompanying document), and a nice lady told me competently, that this handle does not fit for the DC08-T. Had the device upside down and laboriously decipher the little nameplate - and we see therefore have a DC08-T. For the T there is no single handle, but to the entire handle must be ordered with telescopic tube (aha, so T) and unfortunately this also costs twice as much. The handle went back, it took place a usual immediate credit through Amazon. The shipper is recommended that the Dyson type designation is however tricky.
