I bought this clock for a visually impaired person and we are both very disappointed. The other ratings of this clock I can not understand. I judge this clock as a "talking" clock, and not just as a clock. The clock came in a plain, cheap, white cardboard box wrapped in some plastic wrap and with a "manual" consisting of a sheet of A4 paper. (After all, in German) Each Kirmesuhr is better packaged! The Readme ominous! After unpacking, I realized then that shuttled already a pointer back and forth. Cheapest processing - all I can say hands off! The design and the operation still make a good impression. The dial is easy to read for persons with residual vision. The "voice" but is the last! It comes only a confused croak from the speaker - almost impossible to understand. To designate such a thing as a voice acting is a joke and just embarrassing. I'll send back the clock! Actually 1 star still too much.
