Was previously seen anywhere and the declaration by the seller that the cable is indeed meant for old mobile phones and therefore not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit is, now is certainly not satisfactory. The data cable is precisely for this reason from a USB-serial adapter to accurately accomplish this: Old mobile phone with new computers connect. If I would have an old Windows 98 PC serial port, then I would not need indeed this cable.
