The drive in itself would be quite good, while reading divereser CDs and DVDs, there is nothing to complain about. However, I wanted to times burn an MP3 CD from iTunes for your car. No Chance. At that moment I throw straight blank No. 7 away. The burning process starts and stops after a short time with the error message "When burning test An error has occurred. The drive has not responded correctly and recovery or a renewed attempt is not possible." This error happens consistently, no matter what burning speed, no matter what brand blank. The burner is connected directly to the iMac, with two USB ports, therefore be ruled out that it is up to insufficient power supply. When the burner therefore already has problems with the CD burning, I'll never burn Blu Ray so, I have not left so much money. ^^
EDIT: Also, when burning with Toast comes after a short time an error message: "Unable to connect stable" and the firing stops. So the drive is not to be used. The use of another cable does not bring any improvement. Drive is sent back!
