Does not work with my Macbook Air A1465

Ordered for use with a Macbook Air model A1465 this castle. Have tried long and patiently to introduce a connection part (the smallest with the three dots) in the slot between the screen and keyboard, and thereby tried in several places - so rather left, center left, center, center right, far right. Had a look on the Internet corresponding videos with instructions to make it all possible.

Only with a lot of vigor and felt almost violence I have succeeded, center right once fully introduce and follow through the metal piece. Here, the connector of the MBA to the screen has cracked aloud what very worried me, and the black MBA link to the screen has moved perceptibly easy. Even when removing the MBA crackling sounds gave of himself. Did it then tried again to see if I need just more practice. Again the same cracking and again considerable expenditure of force required. It seems as if the piece on the lower edge of the box would put MBA and you have a major leverage effect function to "raise" the connecting piece to the screen a little bit. My fear is that the folding mechanism of the MBA could wear out permanently or ultimately something breaks on the MBA.

Although I really would like to have this castle, because I want a little extra security layer to travel, I'll send it back now, unfortunately. Here in dt. Amazon is no existing review on a Macbook Air seems to relate and I was guided by the generally very positive feedback here. In American Amazon, I have now found on investigation some reviews that the lock with the Macbook Air is not compatible. For me, it has been decided to introduce costly, worrying and stressful to apply the locking system regularly and permanently. On top of that I felt not by the hand-setting risk, well possible by hand to destroy my MBA.

Two stars because the locking system itself does a good and solid impression (apart from the fact that the numbers can not be changed without authorization), practically appears and seems to be as compatible with other Mac models reported. For an Air I can personally not recommend. I do not know if the Bauwerte within the MBA series vary slightly and one probably in another model but would fit. More Reviews of Air-users would certainly be helpful for other users here. Too bad, it would have been too good.
