Charging in and of itself would actually work - you just have to make sure that you choose the correct position (ie, not centered, but placed slightly offset upward until a beep of the station and the confirmation of the Nexus sound). Against every circumstance slipping the phone I just stuck to the charging station two thin foam rubber strips. Without this measure, the Nexus can or similar vibration when messages in the worst case independently from the station "remove" (and possibly land on the ground), because the shelf is very smooth and slightly arched especially upwards.
But the station does still not make sense: once the battery is full, the charging process is completed. It also disables the no trickle charge, ie from this point on the battery again consumes power. Would in and of itself is not so bad, but: as long as the Nexus is on the Energy Station, the consumption at one time is extremely high, so that the charge is used up soon. And as I said, there is no automatic reloading more. Only when you removed the Nexus of the charging station, the consumption falls immediately back to normal levels.
I have to upload a screenshot of times by which one can understand this behavior very well.
I do not know if this be a software problem of the station or the Nexus. Anyway, you can not use both devices as a meaningful way, because the Nexus next morning so often again is as empty as the night before, as you have put it on the charging station.
