The shipping was very quick. The module works with absolute reliability in an iMac 24 "(Early 2008). Have the module bought to my iMac to the not officially provided, but functioning memory configuration of 4GB + 2GB to expand (see Photo 1). Documented is this max. Storage in the program "Mactracker" freely available (see photo 2). It was helpful here to point a user that the configuration will only work if the 4GB bars in the left bank (viewed from the front) infected. Have it so installed and then had 6 GB of RAM available. I assume that the now missing speed advantage when parallel memory access to two large modules is less equal than the profit by increasing the RAM to 50%. Just when I was working with virtual machines, my old system came to its limits. For completeness, I should mention that I already have the hard drive replaced by a SSD (Samsung 500GB) some time ago. This has a significant - brought speed advantage - subjectively noticeable and objectively measurable. In this overall configuration of my iMac does in the 7th year of use nor well his ministry. Boot and response to inputs (eg program start z.) Occur more rapidly than in many a current Windows system.
