I was looking for a label printer that prints abrasion resistant nameplates. Previously, I had a Zebra thermal transfer printers for PET labels. After I'm almost desperate with the Zebra printer (driver, print quality) I have the Brother P750W found. Have until now only USB and power supply operation tested. Batteries and WiFi, I could not even try. The missing in the product description: The printer has two modes of operation: a) "P-Lite", works with the software on USB installed b) "normal", logs on as a printer in Windows Is switched with a switch. When switching can be observed under Windows as the device identifies itself with a new mode. Unfortunately, this is nowhere describe and so I had to buy at risk the printer, because I have an actual program labels with serial numbers printed. Conclusion: is super. FYI: Included power supply has 12V DC.
Pro: * Value for money is good * Drivers and integration into Windows goes very smoothly * Can be used with virtually any program and through the printer driver as a normal Windows printer. This is not clear) of Product Description * Half cut is good: it is the label but not cut the carrier. This eliminates the fiddly release of the backing paper. * Vertical format needs little space, clean design (no rundgelutschtes soap bar)
