Customer Review

Small Deokunde

For me so far was always Deo Deo. The word antiperspirant was not my term, the debate about aluminum is passed entirely to me, I knew only that I can not stand alcoholic deodorants. At least 10 years ago, since then I have only that no use.
Since I could now try several deodorants under a product test, I put myself first a little more intense with deodorants apart and something read into the matter. Much of what I learned there was completely new to me and I'm sure some are reading this do not really informed about what they are there actually spray under the armpits or roles.
Therefore, there is a brief overview of what I have read to me so together what VLT. helps in choosing the right deodorants and VLT. indeed leads to a rethinking of the Deoherstellern. The information does not purport to be exhaustive or scientific accuracy, but should encourage them to set themselves apart with the subject

Deo vs. Antiperspirant
Welding is a secreted by the body, clear and odorless secretion normally. Only by breaking down long-chain fatty acids to butyric acid or formic acid is produced the typical, unpleasant odor

Usually one thinks to buy deodorant, but buys in reality antiperspirant. Although the word is on the bottle, but you might think that this would be just simply a scientific term for Deo.

Deo: In fact, the idea behind is to be anti-bacterial deodorant, whereby the growth of odor-producing bacteria is reduced, however, the sweating is not prevented per se. Furthermore, the odor is often covered with perfume etc. So deodorants do not prevent sweating per se.

Antiperspirant: antiperspirant go one step further. They try to prevent sweating per se, and they narrow the sweat glands by aluminum. They deprive the bacteria so the foundation, and work in addition to pleasant smell still with alcohol and partly also with fragrances. The aluminum salts used are, incidentally, often the reason for discoloration of clothes in the underarm area

Problematic ingredients
Aluminium: First of all, the aluminum used in antiperspirants is currently not in a good reputation. There is a suspicion that the aluminum accumulates in the body and promote the development of breast cancer, Alzheimer's and other diseases. Since this is still uncertain just run the EU large studies. If the suspicions prove to be justified is to be expected with a ban. Currently these are only theories, concrete scientific studies are lacking. Nevertheless, cautious people put currently increasingly on deodorants without aluminum.

Alcohol: Some people (such as myself) are very sensitive to alcohol in deodorant. I used to get by bodies under the arms, so I've since used no deodorant with alcohol. Alcohol dries the skin and makes it more sensitive to harmful germs.

PEG and PEG derivatives: make the skin more permeable, so pollutants can easily enter the body

Diethyl phthalate: This is in the liver, kidneys and reproductive organs suspected to damage, also is believed that it acts as a hormone

What follows now?
Well as I said, it is in most cases easy to suspicions that are currently being investigated. However, I would find it great, although the major manufacturers such as Nivea bring an organic product line to market and develop products that give up this whole Chemiekram. Who needs please a deodorant that works 48 hours? While that is great as a promotional message, but if you want someone to smell 48 hours has neither showered nor washed? I do not in any case. A deodorant that 12 - 24 hour long acting completely enough and would probably include far fewer chemicals.
I'll probably switch to products such as Seba-Med Sensitive, which do not use aluminum and without a lot of alcohol. Better safe than sorry.

Nivea Men Sensitive Protect
A roll-on deodorant or a Antitranspirantroller. Accordingly, with aluminum, but with 0% alcohol. Would be ideal for me when paving without aluminum would. I have tried it anyway, but quite honestly, I can hardly find differences in the deodorants in practice. Since this is precisely without alcohol, I can get no problems applying it in the longer term.
It is an antiperspirant, therefore no wonder that it is doing what is: to stop the perspiration in the places where you apply it. Why this Sensitiv Deo now is specifically "for Men has me previously inaccessible. Vlt. Because it has a blue cap.
After the roll-on deodorant is supplied environmentally friendly in a vial, so Please remeber him when it is empty, and to give the waste glass.

Proper use
Both deodorants and antiperspirants should always be applied directly after washing, only then they are really effective. Are the bacteria first at work, the effect of deodorant and antiperspirants is only very limited.
In general you should not apply deodorant / antiperspirant until 12 hours after shaving, because at this stage this time, the skin can be easily irritated. Also people should strongly sweating forgo much alcohol, coffee, tea or spicy stuff to eat, as this sweat production is stimulated.
