The power strip is doing what it should but when it comes to safety via LAN / Internet access that is no doubt remained seated in the manufacture beginning of the 2000s.

There is no https access enables the password may only contain alphanumeric characters (no special characters etc.) etc ...

The Android app gives you access only if one applies a separate account from the manufacturer !? You can not assign a DDNS NAT addresses manually but must specify the app's account from the manufacturer. This means the power strip is talking to the manufacturers !?

The function is but as it should be based on the total simple and ancient surface without any security, I would recommend anyone the power strip to administer directly over the Internet. Dear via VPN or a local hop server.

I am surprised that in this day and age such a thing is still on the market ... just looking for alternatives ...
