Shortly thereafter, the value "999" will appear and the alarm rang. Worth mentioning here is perhaps even that a certain amount of time elapses until the gas strikes through the housing to the sensor. At my trial, it took a slim 20 seconds (detector in the direct jet blast held) until the alarm rang. Positive I like about this model is that the batteries are replaceable. Other detectors are fitted with permanent batteries and as soon as they are empty, the detector disposed of. The manufacturer's instructions are there though given with a shelf life of 7 years, but looks like the reality (and, if applicable warranty) is unclear. Likewise, the sensor should be worn according to the manufacturers of other devices to approximately 7 years. Over here I can not find information in this detector in the English manual. The time will tell .. A star deduction I have given, since no German instruction is sent with.
