Now to handle yourself:
Manufacturer's "Maike" when I unpacked it, I have the first time looked at the things which were evaluated negatively here. Plastic odor was as good as not, the rubber coating has a good grip but not sticky. And almost indistinguishable from the original design (had the Nikon grip from my photo dealer for testing). Only he is pure plastic differs from the original.
Screwed now under control and the camera identifies the handle immediately. Although the locking wheel is not really tight, but does not rattle. The D-pad is a little too sensitive and reacts to even the light touch. Otherwise, the buttons are provided with a good pressure point and the two command dials can be smoothly operated.
As for the slot between the camera and grip, I did not see. And the "wiggle" when you want to put it that way, is not unlike the original.
Only the tripod thread, me does not happen very stable since it was poured into the plastic and was secured inside with a metal disc. But for me secondary, because my lenses where I work with a tripod, a tripod mount ring (eg, the Sigma 120-300)
Conclusion:
For my applications perfectly adequate and the price we need to say nothing. From me a clear buy recommendation.
