Well, I think that it comes on the DVD not only to work in Photoshop, but is also shown how the photo shoot takes place beforehand. And that applies to all on the DVD example created posters that always the whole process from the very beginning will be shown until the end. After my materials like putting together at myself, but the greatly helps in preparing the assembly material.
I have many years ago with professional 3D graphics work, I have, unfortunately, for years no opportunity. Even more so, of course, pleased me the 3D capability of PS at times to make finger exercises again. DomQuichotte shows beautifully in his poster of Apocalypse how to make stunning works delivered by simple primitives. Comprehensible and quickly even if you are not familiar with special 3D programs.
Working with fonts was not yet so very necessary in my pictures. I was able to gain some experience so far and the DVD has since definitely helped me to get some ideas how interesting fonts for posters can be designed. Important for me is not so much the individual steps, rather the general approach as the font effects were to be set up by the author.
To demonstrate the workflow until the end, is also briefly discussed the pressure and the associated requirements. Class that an action to create a DVD or Blu-ray Covers is still included as well.
Qualitatively, there is nothing to complain about in the DVD. As always with Galileo a very good recording quality in both the video and the sound. DomQuichotte has a very calm, pleasant voice and can when working repeatedly tips and tricks from his work with flow incorporated. For absolute beginners the PS composing may be too complex to implement as few basics are worked out, but anyone who has ever worked with different levels, which can also translate the examples and from the DVD to take some ideas for a poster.
The DVD has made me really feel like designing a movie poster from my photos. The next shoot is on soon, because certainly falls for an image from. The DVD is in any case recommended for all concerned with the overall workflow of movie poster composing, but also for those who want to put their videos or slide shows good times in Scene.
