The album title is very clear program, with full "Karacho" It's the latest output of Ibbenbürener punk rockers to the point, straight and full to the Twelve! The 14 songs feature great melodies which are presented to punchy and straightforward and have this singalong potential - so far everything would actually be as usual! But only really because of "pelt" "Donots" try for the first time in the German language and that's pretty strange at first hearing. For this reason you should "Karacho" also necessarily a couple of times to heart before you deliver a final judgment. I've done that and lo and behold, already the second run me "Karacho" packed. Since it runs in the continuous loop and with each iteration know better how to please. If you have to get used to it, the Ingo Knollmann now sings in German can be "full tilt" really enjoy punk rock at its best! Often German lyrics tend to drift into so trivial or kitschy, this cliff have "Donots" but circumnavigated and convince with flying colors at "full tilt" not only musically but also lyrically! The songs are typical "Donots" - songs are outfitted with melodic sing their hardness and character. Even on the rough vocal performance by Ingo Knollmann nothing has changed, I think that the German language goes very well with him. The opening track "I no longer do with" equals so fast, rocking number that is presented really snotty and dirty - class! From this caliber are with "You can never be happy", "broken", "Here, then gone" and "Better than the" further Songs at the start. "Then without me", "Young man sought for compassion," "problem not a problem" and "head remains above" are all really great numbers with refrains that have these catchy and almost force you to sing along. But "Donots" prove "Next", "still" and "Hansaring, 2:10 clock" that they can also quiet and with some emotion. Especially "Still" I find very special and extraordinary, is that song but in country garb therefore - quite strong title! My absolute highlight is "The end of the world is long gone." At the first hearing me grabbed this song, lyrically and musically just awesome!
My conclusion: become "full tilt" a really strong album which has achieved no filler and has convinced me lyrically and musically. Also, I find that quite courageous decision to try to German lyrics perfectly correct, but the recent past has shown that you can be successful thus quite. The long list of successful German-language band speaks volumes! Of course, these complainers are again to report the word in its narrow-mindedness any changes from are unreceptive. But I think that the great mass very quickly get used to the German texts, and will have a lot of fun with "pelt". Great album - two thumbs up!
