Wow '
Who needs a conclusion about this game that has it. For those who want to learn a few more details, but I'll go a little into detail.
Meanwhile, I am for three days in Skyrim, grew up on level 30 and have not even seen yet nearly everything in the world. On The Contrary. I have a feeling that I have only scratched the surface. It is just amazing what the designers have done with Skyrim.

The World:
A large, walk-free RPG like Skyrim stands and falls with the world, it offers the player. Anyone who has played Morrowind and Oblivion, which will feel right at home in Skyrim. The idyllic nature of the northern part of Tamriel is breathtaking. Mist shrouded peaks, snowdrifts, conifers, switchbacks, crossed by rivers levels and various towns and villages. Skyrim is likely to have something to offer for every friend of medieval fantasy. The world works in this case extremely consistent. Mainly the Imperial and the Northmen are represented in Skyrim. Exotic breeds like the Khajit, Argonian or Redguard (since all come from other continents) are in Skyrim also rather rare, making the world more credible.
So when a dragon attack is about a villager died (no spoilers, but a random Kill) and when I spoke with her husband, was the apology and withdrew. Only 24 hours later he was back as a blacksmith available. Elsewhere I prefer having someone by the family vault to bring a Necromancer to track. I crack a chest and take the content to me, what the companions of 'Hey, this is family owned. But well 'you help me XXX hunt down and are allowed to serve you for it.' commented.
In short, the world reacts to everything what you are doing. A pity, I find that the spokesman for the German language edition while making a super job, but were too few chosen. If the tenth character appeals to someone with the same voice, one wonders if there no longer would have been possible.

Graphics:
The graphics are surprisingly good. In the six years old Xbox360 I expected not much, but she's gorgeous. Especially if you keep moving, everything is extremely beautiful. Keeps you on the other hand, and looks in detail at the textures, you can see how muddy the whole really is. To this end, however, there is a discussion as this probably caused (even) when the game installed on the hard drive. Otherwise, the textures should be a whole corner sharper. Even so, it looks fantastic.
However, I do not play Skyrim because of the graphics, but because of the feel. That is why I see on the partly muddy textures away. A great compliment you have to make for the designers of the female characters. In Oblivion, I found that the female characters seemed very masculine and robust. In Skyrim, the women on the other hand look really feminine and pretty. Since getting married makes it much more enjoyable. The figure models are also more gender across very well.

The sound:
Great soundtrack (although it is strongly reminiscent of Oblivion), good setting (despite the few speakers) and good sound effects. There are thousands of small sounds that combine to form a real-life setting. Here come (especially in a surround sound system) a few sounds strange over. About sounds a rabbit while running almost as cumbersome as a deer or a goat, causing panic to regularly look around. Overall, the sound is still very round. Especially the epic pieces of the soundtrack can be heard.

The Character:
Your character can (as we know it from its predecessors) are selected from a race and then specialize on talents individually. The warrior is increasingly relying on melee weapons and heavy armor. The magician can learn different magic schools (destruction, restoration, modification, etc.) and on alchemy brew restorative potions. The thief assassinates from ambush, puts on light armor, bows and daggers. In principle, of course, each class can level up and specialize all our other talents. Prefabricated classes does not exist. Only the race is a bonus on certain skills. But it makes sense to specialize in a way, because of so-called 'guardian stones' the appropriate skills can be leveled up faster.

The levels of difficulty:
You can always choose the difficulty level. You can select from Novice to Master Adept over five gradations. I play on Master and see now, I'm at level 30, slowly some land while fighting. In other words, in Skyrim to fight constantly to survive. Opponents do not level up together with the character, but are either too easy or too hard just right. It may also ever happen that you suddenly a bear faces with stage 5, the plate raises, adjusts to a tough fight and is dead after the first attack blocked. This means that you have to lure opponents that cover must not neglect and sometimes you have to take your legs into their own hands. In close combat, there are not more tactical assault variations of Oblivion, but only block, attack, counterattack (and corresponding reinforcements). In this case, however, the battles feel also realistic, because the slightest mistake can be punished.
An example of this: I patrol at night by nature, when suddenly I hear footsteps. I turn around and see a Rothwardonin with a long two-handed sword hurtling towards me. I go into the melee and blocks some punches, put a couple of counterattack. After half a minute I make a fatal mistake. You maneuvered me out and stabs me in the back. The second time I do it like that. After a minute, I'm lying in the grass again. Only at the third attempt I am about the two-minute battle and just stand triumphantly over the defeated opponent.

And otherwise ':
The story of the game should at least be clear in its infancy, buy the game. It's a dragon's blood, a so-called 'Dovahkiin'. As such, you can take on dragons, learn powerful screams about their language and so contribute to the salvation of the world. Next I will not comment on the story, because I would not like spoilers. Only this can be revealed: The fight against the dragons are staged attractively and are triggered randomly, if I'm not mistaken. It may happen that you just stands in a village and is attacked by the dragon. In case you are fighting together with all the inhabitants. Or a dragon accesses continued to level. Then it's an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Well, who has the advantage that should be clear. Despite the heavy level of difficulty I've already killed five dragons. One of them even 'nearly' unassisted.
Serious bugs me has not yet come across (apart from Texturbug). I must admit that I have not been looking for it, however. But as long as all Quest Trigger function, I'm really satisfied. Since it is also to cope with that at some dealers, the goods can be taken without penalties (without that they are marked with 'steal'). The surprise something when the dealers the goods can take off the table and they sold them directly again.
The skill system is versatile, but I miss the whole next talents attributes. These were broken down into the most basic. There are at levels rise only Magicka, Health and perseverance available. Fabei is not really explained what a climb each causes. Stamina increases, for example, not only the endurance while sprinting, fighting and blocking, but also increases the maximum load capacity. Here is a more detailed explanation in the manual or in the specially built "Help" section in the game menu would have been useful.
The menu is actually very clear. A real feat, when a game has so many facets.
Have had an average of 1 Freeze per 10 hours in the entire season, which is a good average quite, in my opinion.
Incidentally, there are some humorous and subtle nods to its predecessors. A new edition of the 'old orc', seeking an honorable death and just do not go on forever is included. In addition, you also meet Sheogorat again, the haunting in the spirit of a man. That there are more from other regions repeatedly that one could travel in its predecessors, is self-evident.

UPDATE from 22.11.2011 / 7.12.2011:

Meanwhile, I have:
-The Main Quest series
-The Fellowship Quest series
-The Academy of Magic Quest series
-The Dark Buruderschaft Quest series
-The Thieves Guild Quest series
-The Civil War Quest series
-all Daedric Quests
tens of side quests that are not assigned to a specific group.
I must say that the game can hold up the game even over 100 hours constant and the individual fractions are calling for different approaches in the gameplay. This takes a little variety. Kudos to Bethesda, the game is really unique.
BUT
Thanks to a now extensive testing of this game, I have found some issues that do not interfere with the start / notice, but can be annoying later. First things first:
1. The German version (and any non-English versions) do not have a breakdown about the bounties that have been shrouded in the various regions of the character. The Result? The "Master Criminal" (30G) Achievement is not yet unlockable. One may rightly say that Skyrim is not playing because of gamerscores, but because of the magnificent game fun. But a bitter aftertaste has it anyway.
2. The Daedric Quest to Sinding and Hircine was bugged me, so that I could not finish and had to load a previous score. Again, this is annoying when you have a long time not saved.
3. Here are a few little things that are annoying.
Often circling kites only around and not landing or taking not only the fight. Then they attack Schneebärenland or similar creatures that are involved in the fight. If the Dragon then takes off, the bear / spider / bandit attacks the character. This can be frustrating if you only have problems already with the dragon.
The killing animations are in my opinion unnecessary. In addition, they look not always smart, because even the animations of the sword and the ax occur if you use a Mace. That's just dirty.
The motion animations of the characters are nicely managed. Some animations, however not at all. The best example of the blood ritual of the Companions. First he cuts next hand along and suddenly the whole bowl of blood is full. The acting is anything but contemporary.
I miss a lock function. Sometimes I catch in the fight accidentally an ally. Sometimes it makes them even hostile (with guards). Because I want something more precision in Kampfgetümel.
The balancing is (to master) very bad. At the beginning you are fighting with each Popelgegner survive and after reaching level 50, can forge heavy armor and enchanted, every opponent is a no brainer.
In addition, the statement Bethesda's not quite true that the opponent always stay on the same level of difficulty. When I moved to Level 50 through dungeons that I would have at level 10 can explore, swarmed there from Todesdraugrfürsten. Mostly two or three at a time. I guess times that the mobs are still a little be improved in number and type.
Some quest items you will not go again. So now almost 20 kilos accumulate trinkets in my pockets, I'd like to take. However, this is not because they are quest items. I've completed the quest for a long time (as I believe), the game probably not interested. Too Bad.
Sooo, the update came now but again a lot of criticism after. Harm the stake grand? No. But it should be mentioned. This is also the statement on my part, Skyrim scratch to perfection, again revised slightly. Buy rating and "Game of the Year" predicate I give but still without hesitation.

UPDATE from 1.12.2011:
The patch, which is available since 28 November has been fixed in my texture-Bug and me is really clear only now, on what has been previously waived. The game just looks great. Unfortunately, the achievement glitch is still not resolved.

UPDATE END

Conclusion:
I could go on for hours writing and still provide only a glimpse into this game. It's huge, it does well and it is great fun. After my personal feeling Skyrim scratch the perfection brand. I had high expectations and am very glad that they have even been exceeded. All who love playful liberties and have plenty left over for attention to detail may access courageously. Fans of previous get a familiar, improved in points product that is not just an addon, but a full-fledged successor (unfortunately this is indeed no longer the case with all games). RPG fans access to anyway. For me it is clear: Skyrim ascends the throne genre. But beyond Skyrim is my opinion that to date by far the best game of the year.
