Dream lens and probably the best standard focal length at all!

With f2, it is very bright and perfect for me for events and group shots, but also landscapes. The excellent sharpness is maintained even at maximum aperture into the corners. The glass reaches the quality, where other manufacturers fixed focal lengths required. It is also worth the beautiful bokeh.

Small disadvantage: The upper area is with 35mm (70mm KB) a bit short for my area. But otherwise it is uncompromising and the workmanship perfect. The SWD-drive works silently and accurately. The Olympus 14-35 is sealed also. And the autofocus on the E-3 or E-5 still a tad faster than the 12-60mm - and that's saying something!
