I have 2 of these devices. A device runs on Win7 64 without problems, however, on an old computer. My new computer with new i7 CPU had no problems at the beginning. However, the HBCI card, the chip card reader could not identify after some time. After repeated and the card while then came the green light. Some time later (although the lamp was green with card inserted) recognized the banking software suddenly no longer the inserted card (error -37). Emailed support and they told me to get the driver from Windows (smart card drivers) and exit from the smart card reader and restart. So I wrote me a script and it did so from now. My Note that this is not a solution, was dismissed with the lapidary sentence that this would be communicated to the software department. Some time later, this is also no longer did. So antivirus leave everything Scanning - nothing. Unit exchanged with other computers - nothing (the old computer did both devices at the new computer did not both). So on a whim of Cherry brought the smart card reader and lo and behold everything works right away. Ergo (as on the second computer is still (after more than a year) everything works), the fault lies in the software drivers. Should not do this, the support helps further no meters and you stand there pretty stupid. So I personally advise on the purchase.
