Due usable with pen input

The film can be on good application to the Surface 3. One should make sure that not directly related to the cash card or the included plastic part, the film is smoothed. The latter is due to the matting and hardness quite vulnerable to scratches. I therefore recommend to use as protection the enclosed handkerchief or a microfibre cloth.

Unlike previous generations, the pen tip when Surface Surface is less rounded 3 Pro smooth and not as strong. In my case, this circumstance causes the matting so that the pin the film is easily scratched and squeaks when drawing with a higher pressure rating. (Comparable to the chalk squeaks on the blackboard)
Although Matteriung is implemented very pleasant, I'm going to buy a crystal clear film. This seems to me to be the best compromise for pen input.

Edit: I have now received the crystal clear sheets. They are in my opinion, despite the lack frosting better suited for pen input as the matt films. That the matting is intended to provide a more similar paper writing experience, I can not confirm personally.
