works fine, but updated to 1.9.8 Mandatory higher, otherwise no sound on HDTV !!!
the firmware must be downloaded on a USB key, then once or 1.9.8 +, if you connect the TVix ethernet network (and Internet via your box), the update is made by direct download (much more comfortable)

note: if you first try the setup menu, needless to scare you with the test function of the hard drive ... you have to be passed once in the "movies" menu to be offered formatting the drive .. . (automatic as indicated in the instructions :)

nice GUI access from the PC easily with the software to download (twix netshare). The dual tuner can even record two different channels at the same time, but no simultaneous movie playback with a record.

pity there is an antenna input jack, and no antenna output to get back on TV ... as was 'once' on the VCR.

So good product, but Mr Amazon, deliver them with a firmware version "on" for HDTV in France ... especially for those who have no internet and a key or USB disk on hand.
