After much back and forth, I have finally decided me to buy this headset. This had several reasons, on the one hand the lack of quality and the almost non-existing comfort of the standard headsets my game console, on the other hand, the fact that my friend has set up in our living room, a small office and I the plant could not turn up so therefore, as I wanted. The Turtle Beach X41 Earforce Then I had the right place! From the high price you might first put off, but you get a lot for your money. The build quality is top and the product affects the processing accordingly. Without the microphone, it would probably strike anyone, that this primarily is a headset to play. The sound is very good and the acoustic positioning of opponents in huge multiplayer battles is so much easier. One can get to hear details in the sound scenery much better and that is fun! Despite missing subwoofer (which can, however, switch from its normal investment to both at once or can run) it rummst already properly in the upper story and somehow gives this headset a density which is so a plant can not feel. The latest Need for Speed title therefore makes a lot of fun. You can hear everything hiss and growl and feels a bit more like in a cockpit (at least I'll take that to). The headset is very well located on or at the head and the ears, and did not interfere, not even after long "game nights". The chat function is good, but not necessarily earth-shattering compared to the standard headsets. This is also probably due to the Gesamtübetragung the chat was probably saved at the technical reasons of quality. However, the mixing function of chat is pretty good to play sound, so you can hear exactly what you want. All in all, I have not regretted the purchase and I will not probably. For those audiophiles who would like to make something louder but it can not, which is ideal here! Here again are all summarized:
Pro: - Very good workmanship - Very good product design - Wireless System (naturally brings only a little, if you use a wireless controller) - Very good sound (of course, is crucial) - Microphone holder and adjustment are well resolved - Good delivery (current or USB cable, optical cable, batteries, stickers and instructions) - Connection system simple and versatile (Toslink can be "dragged" by the transmitter module) - Automatic shut-off of the headset when no audio signals arrive - Cheaper In any case as a complete good investment!
Cons: - Headset course swallows batteries (contrast there are the auto-off!) - Partial noise or crackling available - Manual only in English (no problem for me, but someone who might not necessarily be technically or linguistically gifted, which could already be a first obstacle) - This incredible package in which it is believed, the headset was supposed to be catapulted without any detours through the orbit to Mars. This is the total frustration factor for me!
The shipment by the dealer went by the way very quickly and I can only say thank you!
