Those who take music seriously and listen not only out of sheer entertainment between the PC or in the subway, do the work of artists such as Sting more than appreciate. I think it's excellent that good quality music is still published and would each singer personally kiss the feet.
I saw Sting in Berlin (therefore the right concert and the DVD) and I'm still overwhelmed. I have enjoyed every single song and the DVD I can no longer put out of his hands. That Sting in some places (in some few places!) Misses the sound, I call only human. Nearly 60 is the good Lord and someone is me times please prove that he (was so long the concert namely) after 3 hours singing does not make mistakes. Whoever tries his songs nachzusingen at home in the living room, quickly realizes that one out of breath after already 6 songs. And since you can not expect but that all 39 songs in front of a huge audience (O2 arena with thousands of spectators ...) a perfect feat are like on a plate. And especially not when you have rehearsed for months and hours before the concert! Who wants to see a perfect concert, is to half-naked, jumping singer, sing karaoke, watch on RTL. Sting concert was musically and vocally ideal (= perfect as far as possible!) Delivered.
I can not complain about the sound quality. Well, things always goes, but it's not a doomsday, as some think ...
More I do resent me of these superficial criticisms that has not even PICTURE level ... it's only that you can not find the good. What exactly and where with good reason, I'm looking in vain - that's not constructive criticism! So I do not talk at the table, but when I write a serious review ...
