Since early 2009, Florence And The Machine enchanted in their native Britain not only music fans of all kinds, but also critics. Rightly it has in the British Music Awards the award for the 'Best British Album', by far the most important award of the evening, which shows what it really is for an exceptional talent. The album 'Lungs' has convinced me with its partly melancholic lyrics and its varied mix of soul and rock, funk and punk and its charming harbor immediately. Especially flashed me the rebellious Popdame with their expressive and passionate songs like Rabbit Heart, Kiss With A Fist and Between Two Lungs. The song You've Got The Love radiates pure glamor and added a kind of back to another time. The whole album impresses with its enormous multi-faceted; boring is not one determined.
Conclusion: Florence takes you along on a colorful journey into another time. She succeeds to surprise with every song anew. The songs are wonderfully varied and encourage them to complete repeated run. But be careful: Earwigs are inevitable!
