The scope of supply, in addition to the Dymo (and the battery) itself, a USB cable and a matching 230V power supply (5V, 2A, can also be used for other devices) as well as a Quick Start Guide and to start with a 3m starter cartridge (24mm). The commercial D1 cassettes usually have 7m on the role, something was saved, but you know what I mean by the printers and the supplied ink cartridges.
The Installation and commissioning is easy, and the wireless connection is described relatively simply and in the Quick Start Guide, a few pictures help to understand the device and the software. The necessary steps as follows:
1. Insert the battery and cartridge
2. Connect via USB to the PC and switch on
3. The software starts (at least on Windows 7) automatically, the drivers are installed directly (no CD required)
---> Without WLAN can now immediately with the software, the "DYMO PNP" is available in the Drive will be printed
4. Optional WLAN configure using the software (Wireless Setup button, select Network, and enter key)
5. Important: If you are printing over a network, an additional software to be installed (81 MB download size)
---> It will be automatically directed to the Wireless Setup on the download page
6. In the software menu under "File" - will "add a network printer"> chosen, otherwise the software continues to try to print via USB
7. Now you have in the system and two printers may vary at will to select and use the Wireless USB Dymo Dymo or
With its rechargeable battery and wireless one is completely flexible in its use, even if multiple users want to access the Dymo. I use the Dymo occasional official and otherwise private, somehow there's always something to write on and it has never been so easy. The adhesive power of the band, I find very good, even on rough surfaces very good adhesion!
The only drawback (but I know well from the previous devices with which I had to do):
- Sometimes small corners are missing from the print, a user photo has already been set with an example
- Above all, who wants to print QR codes or barcodes might encounter problems here
In addition, one or the other cm was with me through the automatic cutter now and then given away, the font is not then centered.
Overall, a great product, some high cost, for flexible application areas without cable clutter. No 5, but good 4 points due to the said small weakness!
