Yes, it is as easy as it sounds well. I must say, I've never set up a network and thought: Help, I'll never make, had a little afraid, but I was taught: you only need the network connector from the router (DSL modem, this should, however, be previously configured correctly) connect, then connect the network connector of the PC to be connected, electricity, finished! Already I could continue with all PCs to the Internet. The blinking lights indicate the activity.
Had only considered the FS105G with 5 RJ45 connectors to buy, but for 10 more it does not matter and you just 3 connections more. Otherwise, the two devices differ from each other not out of ink.
Who generally has questions about the creation of a network, which I can only recommend the homepage of Netgear: [...]
There you pretty much everything gets so easily conveyed using images as it goes.
PRO:
- No installation software (and therefore no driver updates) needed
- Top,
- Only 740g heavy,
- Silent because it has no propeller ventilation
- Does not get hot, it can be just described as lukewarm and so it's all built up
CONTRA:
- No (On / Off button would be nice, but you do not really need)
