I was tired of always having to switch on the TV to the appropriate input, because my older Samsung does not switch automatically. With the 3 port switch that's now easy. New Device Switch. Hey presto. Changed input. Receiver off again and automatically switching to another device.
Since the Hydra is now behind the base, can also be much easier to connect my laptop via HDMI.
